How it works
Four steps to the best game of the shower
1. Set it up in 3 minutes
Add the parents' names and pick 10–20 prompts (we pre-pick 12 favourites).
2. Parents answer privately
Each parent gets a private link and answers on their phone. No peeking at each other's answers!
3. Guests join with a QR code
Put the big screen on a TV. Guests scan, type their name and they're in — no app, no account.
4. Guess, reveal, celebrate
Each answer pops up, guests tap who said it, and the leaderboard updates live. A keepsake of every answer is made at the end.

How do you play Mom Said or Dad Said at a baby shower?+
Before the shower, each parent answers the same fun prompts privately. At the shower, each answer appears on a shared screen and guests guess whether Mom or Dad said it. Correct guesses score points — faster answers score more — and the guest who knows the couple best wins.
Do guests need to download an app?+
No. Guests scan a QR code (or go to buyforbaby.ca/g and type the 6-letter code) and play in their phone's browser. They only need a name — email is optional.
Is it free?+
Yes. Hosting is free with a BuyForBaby account, and guests never need an account.
What if only one parent is available, or it's a single-parent shower?+
Add someone close instead — a partner, best friend or grandma. The game uses whatever names you enter.
How many people can play?+
Up to 100 guests per game. It works great with 5 or 50.
Can the parents see each other's answers?+
Never before the game. Answers are private until the reveal, and after the game both parents get a keepsake page with every answer side by side.
